Thanks for checking out my unboxing, first impression, and installation review of the ALL NEW $249 SmartThermostat by ecobee. I really love what ecobee has done with this. Overall, it runs noticeably quicker than the ecobee4 thanks to its quad-core processor and the speaker is WAY better. If you've ever heard the quality on the 3rd generation Echo Dot, it sounds a lot like that. Not to mention the fact that it comes with a completely redesigned sensor with a 5-year battery life! If you have an ecobee4, there really is no need to upgrade unless you just want to. If you have the ecobee3 or another brand, then I highly recommend this.
