Pier’s Meatballs with @rational_ag • The search option in Rational ovens is SuPier, you can choose from a lot of ready-made recipes or program your own! • Spaghetti Meatballs is a very easy and controversial Italian-American dish, which many Italians don’t tolerate and that’s exactly why we made it ๐ what do you think? Would you ever eat it? • plus we loved the idea of โโrecalling Lilly and the Tramp but making it weirder ๐ • Ingredients: • 500 g ground meat (beef or mixed) • 1 egg • 2 slices of bread (white or sandwich bread) • 50 ml milk • 30 g grated cheese (Parmesan or Pecorino) • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped • 1 clove garlic (optional) • Salt and pepper to taste • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil for frying • 700 ml tomato passata • 4-5 leaves fresh basil • Instructions: • Cut the bread into pieces and soak it in the milk until it becomes soft. Squeeze out the excess milk and crumble the bread. In a bowl, mix the ground meat with the egg, the soaked and crumbled bread, grated cheese, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and, if desired, minced garlic. Mix well until you have a homogeneous mixture. Form small balls, about the size of a walnut. • Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined. Brush the meatballs with a little olive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (Pier’s meat balls) for 15 minutes • Add tomato sauce over the meatballs.
