Another awesome experience in the the famous Kruger National Park. This year we decided to explore a bit outside the KNP. We stayed three nights in Marloth park at Kruger's Retreat House and seven nights in Hazyview Cabanas. • Our first two days we did some tiger fishing in the Komatipoort river. It was so much fun but didn't get that big one! Maybe next time. We mostly relaxed at Marloth Park and enjoyed the peace and quiet this park has to offer. Every year we are blessed to have a close interaction with a different wild animal and this year we were lucky enough to spend close to two hours with a genet coming by our house. As you are allowed to feed animals in Marloth Park, we fed him leftover chicken hearts we used for the tiger fishing. • After our stay at Marloth Park we headed to Hazyview Cabanas, driving through Crocodile Bridge to Phabeni Gate. We met 2 male lions early in the morning, but unfortunately lost them as they were on a mission to somewhere. A stop at Lower Sabie for coffee and a muffin from Mugg Bean is a tradition and this year was no different. • The road to Phabeni Gate is beautiful. As the KNP is so big we are always amazed at how different each part of the Park is. • In our next video (Part 2) we will show you more of what we got up to in Hazyview as well as this part of the KNP. We were super blessed with everything we experienced during our visit this year. Stay tuned! • We hope you enjoy this video!
