Toyota is making significant adjustments to its Highlander lineup for the 2024 model year, particularly at the lower end of the spectrum. The entry-level L grade is no more, and the range now commences with the LE trim. This change translates to a starting price of $39,120 for the most affordable variant, marking an increase of $2,500 compared to the previous starting point. It's worth noting that the LE trim comes with a price tag that is $100 higher than last year's model. Keep in mind that these prices do not encompass the mandatory $1,395 destination and handling fees. • In other news, the Bronze Edition has given way to the Nightshade Edition, a new addition for the 2024 Corolla Cross as well. Toyota is offering the Highlander in this fresh variation exclusively for the LE and XLE trims equipped with the hybrid powertrain. As is the case with the other nine Nightshade models in the lineup (yes, there are now 10), this SUV boasts a multitude of black accents. These include black grille trim, side mirror caps, door handles, sharkfin antenna, rear badging, and rear spoiler. Opt for the XLE Nightshade, and you'll find dark roof rails as well. • Color options for the Highlander Nightshade include Cement, Wind Chill Pearl, Midnight Black Metallic, and Ruby Flare Pearl. The 18-inch five-spoke wheels are available exclusively in black. Inside the LE Nightshade, you'll discover black fabric seat upholstery, while the XLE boasts two-tone Softex-trimmed seats with silver accent stitching and embossed fabric inserts. The more upscale trim level also comes with heated front seats, a 10-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, and second-row captain's seats. • Both trims of the Highlander Nightshade feature an eight-inch touchscreen, but you have the option to upgrade to a larger 12.3-inch display if you choose the XLE. The pricier model includes a standard electric tailgate, a moonroof, second-row sunshades, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror equipped with HomeLink universal garage door opener. • For the Highlander LE Nightshade with front-wheel drive, Toyota is asking $41,720, while the all-wheel-drive version is priced at $43,320. If you decide to step up to the XLE trim, you'll need to budget $44,870 for the front-wheel-drive model and $46,470 for its all-wheel-drive counterpart. • #ToyotaHighlander • #2024Model • #NightshadeEdition • Get More Great Car Videos - Subscribe: https://goo.gl/BSIaFc
