Easy Metallic Covering for RC Airplanes • In this video I will go over a very easy way to create metallic covering for RC airplanes using metal-finish heat duct tape available at your local Home Depot or hardware store. • I use as an example the foam board model of the Boeing L-15 Scout RC model airplane. Video build link and free plans shown below. The prototype of the Scout was flown without any sort of finish. After the test flights, I used the metal-finish tape, with sticky back side, to apply a realistic and easy metallic covering for RC airplanes. • The tape simply is pressed into place. The smoother the surface the better the finish outcome. I use a piece of foam board to smooth down the applied tape. • The tape does not add too much weight and the center of gravity of the model was not affected. • Boeing L-15 Scout build video and plans: •    • Let's Build and Fly Boeing L-15 Scout...   • Scout plans: • https://drive.google.com/drive/folder... • Easy paper decals: •    • Super Easy Insignia without Decal Paper   • Chapters • 00:00 - Intro • 00:22 - Overview • 03:10 - L-15 Scout history • 03:28 - Covering the fuselage cab • 05:00 - Covering the wing and tail • 07:24 - Completed model • 08:28 - Test flights
