Update: Follow-up video showing carabiner loops: • Tiedown Hooks Wheel Straps • I was towing my Honda Pioneer on the trailer and hit a spot of broken pavement that stretched all the way across the Interstate, and the trailer and Pioneer bounced and the rear tie-down straps came loose. • Today, I added tie-down rings that are much more effective than just connecting the toe-down straps to the trailer. I'll still tie the pioneer to the metal frame of the trailer, but the rings will be a closer connection point for added protection. • Tie-down rings can be purchased at most hardware stores. If you add these to your trailer, make sure they are sized correctly for the weight you are towing. • ALWAYS take time to secure you equipment properly and stop a couple of times on your trip to check the trailer hitch and tie-down straps.
