Scotcheroos Playing with Paper

SCOTCHEROOS (I can't believe I said the wrong cookie.) • Join me as I create a recipe card for my Happy Planner Recipe Book. Today I am doing the recipe Scotcheroos for my dessert. • Scotcheroos Recipe • ~ 1 cup sugar • ~ 1 cup light corn syrup • ~ 1 cup Peanut butter • ~ 6 cups Rice Krispy cereal • ~ 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips • ~ 2 cups butterscotch chips • 1.) Combine sugar and syrup in a large saucepan 3-6 quarts. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently till its boils. • 2.) Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and mix well. • 3.) Add Rice Krispies and mix until coated. Press into 9x13 pan. • 4.) Melt chips together by hot water or microwave. • 5.) Spread chocolate mixture over Rice Krispies mixture. • 6.) Cool till firm.
