#kuihmiuh #soonkuih #easycooking • A delicious and yummy steamed kueh filled with shredded mung kwang and dried prawns. Served with sweet chillie sauce. • Ingredients • 1 mung kwang shredded • 50g dried prawns soaked until soft • Salt to taste • Mushroom granules • Pepper to taste • 3-4 tbsp of cooking oil • Fried dried prawns with oil until aromatic. Add shredded mung kwang and seasonings, fry for a minute and dish up. Cool before use. • For the dough • 100g rice flour • 100g wheat starch • 1/4 tsp himalayan pink salt • 500ml boiling water • 1 tbsp cooking • 60g tapioca starch • Mix rice flour and wheat starch, add salt. Pour boiling water and mix. Rest for 20-30 minutes. After 20 minutes, add cooking oil. Transfer mixture into a flat surface and knead together with tapioca starch until a smooth and pliable dough. Divide dough into 2. Roll into 2 logs. Divide each log into 8-9 equal pieces. Take each piece, roll and flatten, add fillings and seal edges. Lay them in a steaming tray with banana leaves brush with oil. Steam for 15 mins.Done. • Thanks for watching and support.
