In the 8th episode of Paths Less Traveled - Iran, I’m visiting the biggest of Iran’s islands in the Persian Gulf - Qeshm. • Qeshm, in the Strait of Hormuz presents an incredibly different side of Iran, with attractive beaches, Bandari villages, incredible geological features and even a mangrove forest! It's far closer to Dubai than Tehran. • We’ll travel all around the island, visiting the beautiful Stars Valley, take a boat around the Hara mangrove forest, visit the Chahkooh Canyon and the Namakdan Cave before catching sunset at one of the island’s beaches.
