The Celestron 114AZ-SR is a budget telescope aimed at the new astronomer. In this video I take a hard look at the telescope to see if it lives up to the advertising hype. • Making a budget reflector telescope is hard, there is just too much going on to make a good one cheap. It is all a balancing act of cutting costs in places where it will not take too much away from the telescope's ability to deliver a reasonable viewing experience. • This telescope has some good points, and a few that aren't that great.
