Here is a visual demonstration of our instructions for setting up your Rightline Gear CampRight Truck Tent. When done correctly, your tent will fit snugly and shelter you from the elements. • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • First, make sure the tent is laid out with the screen side up, then slide the tailgate sleeve over the tailgate. With the sleeve in place, you can now extend the rest of your tent over the top of the bed and adjust it so that it is even on both sides. Now, you'll want to lengthen the side straps so that you can hook the clips on to the vehicle's side panels. Once the hooks are secured, the side straps should be adjusted until there is no slack. • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • It is now time to pitch the tent with the included set of four (4) shockcorded poles. Arrange the poles by their color coordinated sleeves (gray with gray, green with green, and so on) and fit the poles into their appropriate pockets on one side of the vehicle. Once the poles are secured, you can go around to the opposite side and begin to raise the tent, moving from the gray pole closest to the tailgate, to the green pole, then the red pole, and finally the gray pole closest to the cab. • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • There are a couple of different methods for securing the interior straps once the outside of your tent is assembled. For trucks with cleats, take the green straps and hook them to the cleats closest to the cab of the trick, then hook the red straps to the cleats closest to the tailgate and tighten all the straps until there is no slack. For trucks without cleats, hook the green straps together at the head of the truck bed, and lift the tailgate slightly to allow the red straps to fall through. Then, balance the tension on the red straps. • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • For inclement weather conditions, installing the optional rainfly is easy. The base of the rainfly has four (4) clips which correspond to the tent pole's points of insertion. Simply clip the rainfly into place. Finally, for trucks with sliding glass rear windows, you can insert the access sleeve through the window for quick access to the cab, from the comfort of the tent. • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • Find more tutorials and innovative outdoor products at https://www.rightlinegear.com, or visit our channel / @rightlinegear
