It was tidy but there were definitely too many things in there, so I have finally found it in my heart to part with some sentimental things and also some sheets that we no longer use. • Then, I went to White Room and got some gorgeous wicker baskets and to IKEA to get a few new drawers for my existing ALGOT. • I have spent a few days going through everything and reorganising my linen. I also needed a space for my new towels. So, I had to plan my project carefully. • Here are the 10 steps I have used to complete my makeover. • 1. Declutter • 2. Separate by type • 3. Fold items in each category similarly for a cohesive look - of course every category might be different • 4. Put everything back in the closet as a draft. • 5. Make a note of what organisers you need • 6. Pick a colour scheme • 7. Shop your home before buying anything new • 8. Use baskets to hide multi coloured items • 9. Use jars or canisters for accessories such curtain hooks and cable clamps • 10.
