Tohatsu 6hp outboard first time in the water

I used to have the Honda BF2.3 but I needed something faster so I purchased this Tohatsu 6hp. It has plenty of power for just one person but it gets a little bogged down with 2 people and some gear. I eventually found out that I could swap the standard prop 7.8x8 to a 7.8x7 and this helped me get into plane faster and also get into plane when someone is with me.
