The 4S-compatible power system includes twin 12-bladed 50mm fan units that deliver an abundance of power for excellent thrust, loads of speed, and an incredible turbine-like sound. The full-size Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker is a long-range air defense jet fighter that was designed as a direct competitor to the McDonnell Douglas F-14. The swept-back wing configuration gives the Su-27 excellent slow-speed handling and short-field capabilities, but it also allows for high maneuverability at speed. These design attributes carry over extremely well to the XFLY model of the Sukhoi Su-27. • • The XFLY Su-27 is supplied in a Plug-N-Fly format meaning that it not only includes the fan units, motors, and ESCs, but 5 x 9g digital servos as well, all you need to supply is a transmitter, receiver, and a 4S (14.8V) 2200~3000mAh LiPo battery. The strong landing gear supplied is fixed with a steerable nose gear, but due to the very stable flight characteristics of the Su-27, it is quite happy being hand-launched with the landing gear removed. This takes it to the next level with even more speed and an almost unlimited vertical performance. • • The model is made from very tough EPO foam and is beautifully finished in a blue color scheme of the Ukrainian Air Force.
