The Phenakistoscope is the forerunner of Zoetrope. When looking through the slits in front of a mirror, you can see the moving images. As drive the base was used by Zoetrope model by Rob Ives. Beim Blick durch die Schlitze vor einem Spiegel, kann man die bewegten Bilder sehen. Als Antrieb wurde die Basis vom Zoetrop Papier-Modell von Rob Ives verwendet.
