After staying home for almost 4 weeks after surgery. Now it’s time to start the next phase of this journey. A journey filled with flashes and tablets💊⚡️. • Today marks the start of continuous 30 days of radiotherapy and chemo. On weekends we will be free hence, for the next 45 days we will have to visit MVR cancer centre to get radiotherapy done. • As it is far from home, we chose to shift close to hospital. We found a beautiful 1.5 BHK apartment suiting our requirement😇. • Right after breakfast we reached directly to the apartment, it was like a complete house shifting, 3 cars were there filled with luggages and food items. • After settling in I had to get a blood test done. And to consult Chemo Dr before we start. So went to MVR and got myself injected again for blood samples. • Radio was scheduled for 1:30PM. So had lunch at the apartment, and had chemo tab💊 which we are supposed to have 1hr before radio and left for hospital. We had to wait before our turn came in. It was almost 2:30, when i got called into the radiotherapy room. • It was nothing, they covered my face with the mask, which they had Molded using some material 3 weeks before, during brain mapping procedure. It is a replica of my face. It’s created to restrict motion during radiation procedure. The entire room had collection of such masks, like a scene out of a sci-fi movie📸💽🎛️🔋🎚️📟. • Entire radiation took almost 15-20 min. • Honestly i didn’t feel a thing. Outside everybody is worried what will happen, even i was expecting that i would feel some heat/some sensation. But nothing. • May be its since the 1st session, let’s see how it goes in the upcoming sessions. • Thats for day 1🤗
