It also trains your torso to rotate, which can help with sports performance, as well as everyday movements. • Here, we demonstrate how to do a Russian twist. This can be made easier by placing your feet on the floor, or harder by holding a weight in your hands. • 1. Sit on the ground with your feet on the floor in front of you, holding your hands together in front of your chest. • 2. Lean back slightly, and take your feet off the floor. • 3. Engage your core and twist your torso to the left, and then tap the floor. • 4. Bring your torso back to the front, before repeating on the other side.
