Other than that though, this video quickly does a few mid-range melismatic exercises and then proceeds to two exercises that cross the secondo passaggio (the 'break'.) In the second to last exercise you're given a breath in the middle of the phrase - be sure to take it! It is there in order to require you to do a tonal onset above the secondo passaggio, a skill that is especially helpful in balancing out the crico thyroid dominant singing voice! • Want to contribute?
