To perform these designs the main idea is to lightly heat/soften the leather material just enough to let the metallic die (aluminum/bronze/steel) engrave the figure on its surface. It means Could I heat the leather surface with a 'heat gun'? or other means? ...Yes of course! • For this demonstration I am applying force to the die against the leather material with a 'bolt and a nut mechanism', but you could use another mechanical system or a hydraulic system instead. • I hope you find this video useful and much more as a way of inspiration to do your own mechanism for your leather projects! • Cesar
