This follow-up covers voltage controlled amplifier chips by THAT Corp. (spinoff of the dbx chip design group), the SSM2164 and SSI2164, the CEM3320, JFETS as variable resistors (like in the 1176 compressor), diode bridges (like in Neve compressors), and the SSM2044 and SSI2144.
