This video is an overview of Ireland's National Broadband Plan (NBP) and its execution by National Broadband Ireland (NBI). It aims to showcase Ireland's strategy to achieve the EU's connectivity objectives, addressing the digital divide and illustrating both current achievements and future aspirations in broadband deployment. With this project Ireland is providing high-speed broadband services to the entire country, reaching 564,000 premises, 1.1 million people, over 65,000 farms, 26,000 non-farm businesses, and 679 schools. • This video is part of the European Broadband Competence Offices Network’s programme promoting awareness of good practices in broadband projects as well as EU broadband funding and policy.
