The original plan was to use a 3/4 wood auger. Look how far we've come. I pretty quickly hit a brick wall of my own creation when it came to making the screw for this machine. It's a tricky part to make on a manual lathe, but, there are always workarounds. • I'm hoping to go a little more detail into the tool post spindle when I get a minute. Apart from being a screaming death machine, it's actually fairly neat to use.
