Sekiro Shadows Die Twice - Demon of Hatred Secret Boss Fight Location • The Demon of Hatred is a secret boss fight in Sekiro Shadows DIe Twice. You can only face the Demon of Hatred after defeating the Divine Dragon at Fountainhead Palace. The Ashina Castle will be dark at this point, and this is the only chance you have to fight the Demon of Hatred. • You want to go towards the Old grave Idol and run all the way back to the starting area of the game. There will be an Idol at the very end near a burning door, interact with this to start the boss fight with the Demon of Hatred. • This boss is annoying. You cannot parry it and it plays much like a boss from Bloodborne or Dark Souls. What I found worked best was just patience. Only attack a couple of times after each combo, back away, and wait for the Demon of Hatred to attack again. • There's 3 phases of this you have to do and as the arena is full of things to bump into and it's not an even surface, it can make the boss fight difficult. • If you have the Malcontent prosthetic (and upgraded version of the whistle), you can stun the boss a couple of times with it and get a lot of free hits.
