#BoundaryIssues #TheVaults #London • My new song is in German this time, because it just came to me. I just plucked it out of the air and slapped it on paper. It was probably because I was asked shortly beforehand if I would like to write another German song. And that's probably when my subconscious started to put together a story from all the jumbled thoughts in my head. And here is the result. • Only the song title didn't quite make it into German because I just didn't like any German translation. Boundary Issues is a really cool word and not at all easy to translate. It is usually translated into German as Abgrenzungsprobleme or Grenzangelegenheiten , but also as Bindungsprobleme . And yet there is still more to it than I can express. • And that's exactly how I see a relationship. You have to be able to overcome boundaries, but also set them. And then you both have to want the same thing and be able to say it. That can be really difficult sometimes. And if both of them are really uptight, it becomes even more difficult. My song is about just such a couple. • We shot the video in The Vaults tunnel in London because I liked it so much and for me it reflects all the diversity and craziness of love. From friendly to gloomy, from real to abstract, from artwork to amateurish, from brand new to over-smeared. Have you ever been there?
