Chandrayaan-2 is just a few minutes away from landing on the Moon. India's second mission to the Moon, the Chandrayaan-2 lander Vikram will attempt to land near the south pole of the Moon between 1:30 and 2:30 am Saturday. The lander Vikram houses the six-wheeled rover Pragyaan that will explore the lunar surface for around 14 Earth days. The Chandrayaan-2 mission also consists of an orbiter that will revolve around the Moon for around a year. Updates on the Chandrayaan-2 landing will come in from the Indian Space Research Organisation's headquarters in Bengaluru that is currently bustling in preparation for the history landing.
