Father Elias Chacour shares with his supporters around the world some comments about the current situation in his homeland. • Archbishop Emeritus Chacour, a three-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee, was ordained and appointed as priest of St. George Melkite Catholic Church in Ibillin in 1965 and has been there ever since. His vision was, and is, that through education, children, youth, and young adults of different faith traditions will learn to live and work together in peace. That vision is a reality in the schools of the Mar Elias Educational Institutions (MEEI). As Father Chacour’s dreams became reality, schools have been established in Ibillin over the last 30 years. The cluster of schools now serve 2,750 students from preschool through high school. • Father Chacour has lived a life of obstacles and challenges yet has never wavered from his message to always see the humanity in your enemy - and he doesn’t just say that, he lives by his message. • We welcome your support of his much-needed work with your contribution: https://bit.ly/donatepilgrims
