The voting for Himachal Pradesh Assembly Elections 2022 began on Nov 12. The fate of 412 candidates contesting for the polls are in fray. Over 5 million voters will decide which party will form the government for the next five years.Voting is taking place on all the 68 Assembly Constituencies of the state. The Election Commission has set up 7,881 polling stations where people will exercise their franchise. The state has seen the power alternate between the BJP and Congress over the past elections. However, the current CM Jairam Thakur is confident that the ruling BJP party will come to power again.
