In fact, you get another decryption unit for your adventurousness! (It's not needed if you've been collecting the rest.) One reason I was wary is that - besides this sort of level screwing with you anyway - the game manual includes screen shots of each character, including McKeen, Jake, and the INVISIBLE Dr Timms each sitting at the opening to one of these tubes. I wouldn't put it past them to have Timms attack you for going up there. Anyway, I tossed this bit into the death montage for fun. • *** 5:10: Oops, misspoke. In the bad ending, it does roll credits.
