The old town of #Albi is located in the south-west of #France, 85 kilometers from Toulouse. • The city has an ancient history: the first settlements on this site belong to the Bronze Age. • Later, after the Romans arrived in Gaul, the town became known as Civitas Albigensiun or Albiga. • In the Middle Ages, Albi became famous as a center for the religious ejaculation of the Cathars, recognized by the Roman Catholic Church as heresy. • During the Albiguian Crusades between 1209 and 1229, the city was almost completely destroyed • Modern Albi is famous for its attractions.
