Hi guys, This raf. Welcome back and Happy new year. I hope you all guys are doing great. Let's start this 2021 with a new tech video. Today, we'll have here this Android TV. Since we almost stay at home most of time. We have updated are TV experience. This is the TCL 55 inch P715 4k TV. So here is my review. • Design • Let's start with the design. It does have a minimalist design with a sleek thin metallic frame bezels which looks really great. It does thin strong stand which also compliment its bezel-less appearance. It does have a free wall bracket so that you can mount it the wall also. I really like also the design of its remote. It is slim and its not the heavy and feels good in the hand. The remote is pretty straight forward does not have additional confusing keys like other Tvs. It implements this shortcut keys for opening apps, like youtube, netflix, amazon prime and also with Google assistant. • Display • So it does have a 55 inch 4K LED screen with HDR 10. It does have this Dynamic Color Enhancements to adjust and optimize color vibrancy. It is proprietary algorithm expands traditional palette limitations – delivering a more vibrant, premium video experience according to TCL. It also supports Micro dimming, 4k upscaling, dolby audio and chromecast built-in. It is OS is Android 9. It is powered by a quadcore processor and a tri-core gpu. • Performance • Watching on this TV is great. It does have a good viewing angles and 4k is stunning on this tv. Micro dimming works well and also its 4k upscaling. The audio sounds good and I'm suprised how loud it is. This device also is powered by Google assistant and the fact it is android tv. You can download apps ang games on the Play store. You can cast video using your phones or computer to the Tv itself. One nifty feature that it does have is you can access Google assistant via voice without using the remote. A total hands free voice control with 4 microphones to capture and ensure your commands are picked up with exceptional range and clarity. So its like over power Google home hub. You can control and do command on your other smart devices with this TV. • Conclusion and its price. • The only down side that I see is that it doesn't have a Dolby vision. But dolby vision is only a slightly better version of HDR10. Since this Android TV do have HDR10, Micro dimming, 4k upscaling, A lot of apps and with hands free voice command powered by Google assistant. This is really a great entry for a 4k smart tv and you can do a lot more and improve your movie watching experience. The TCL P715 range comes in 43”, 50”, 55” 65”, 75”, 85” 100” models. Its 43 starts around 23000 pesos/ 475 USD. THE55 regular price is 31000 peso / 641 USD tho we are able to purchase last christmas with a big discount for 23000 pesos/475 USD on SM appliances which is a great deal.
