Shot 5/27/2019. • • This really isn't all that scenic for a glass elevator! • • Completely unaffected by the recent retail apocalypses (Sears and Bon Ton), Oak park mall opened in 1974, originally anchored by Macy's, JcPenney, Montgomery Ward, and Dieselducy's favorite, Stix Baer and Fuller. Even with Nordstrom planning on leaving in 2021, the mall is in great finnancial shape.
