This is an addendum to the Harvey Pekar Collection on Late Night, Late Show, 1986-1994 ( • Harvey Pekar Collection on Letterman,... ) • I realized too late that for Harvey's appearance on November 17, 1987, I chose the rebroadcast, which interrupts the closing act with Bill Wendell's repeat message. (It's at 1:08:48 in the collection.) Here's the segment from the original broadcast, with no interruptions, where Harvey and Dave continue to talk over each other until Harvey finally says, Shut up, man. • Easier to just add this here than spend another half-day baking another version of the collection.
