This is amongst one of the best gaming monitors you can pick up if you are looking for a good color-accurate monitor. It provides some really good viewing angles and has a mat finish to give you an optimal viewing experience. • If you want to get the 144fps you will need to play at 1080p, else you will get about 100fps on 1440p. To get the 1ms response time you will need to set it to faster and you will not be able to turn on blur reduction which actually doesn't look bad at all. With the LG 27GL83A, there was the horrible trailing effect that was very noticeable and it wasn't pleasing to look at so I ended up returning that one and buying the 27GN800-b that doesn't have that trailing effect issue. • This monitor has a good color-accurate panel where you can still edit your photos and videos.
