藝行記 - 我的披頭四 • 全世界喜歡 Beatles 的樂迷，到利物浦遊覽一定會去 Beatles 起源地 Cavern Club 朝聖，香港人 Jim 現時每星期有兩次在這裡定期表演，當地歌迷如癡如醉。 • Jim是誰？七十年代曾參加「聲寶之夜」歌曲選秀比賽，獲得第二名。這個節目，發掘不少香港流行音樂紅星，例如陳百強、葉麗儀、區瑞強、陳潔靈等。比賽後，Jim雖然曾經全職擔當酒廊歌手，但最後只能短暫與音樂夢想擦身而過。 • 近耳順之年，Jim重拾結他，在南丫島街頭演唱，竟於19年被路過香港的 Cavern Club 負責人賞識，邀請他到利物浦參加 Beatleweek 的表演。至 2022年，Jim定居英國，重遊Cavern Club，更被邀請作定期演出。 • 年時66歲的 Jim，從沒出過一張正式唱片，但由街頭演唱，到踏上一代偶像演出過的舞台，這是他一生人最開心的日子。 • For Beatles fans worldwide, a trip to Liverpool isn't complete without visiting the Cavern Club, the birthplace of the iconic band. Today, Jim, a Hong Kong native, performs there twice a week, captivating the local audience with his music. • So, who is Jim? In the 1970s, he competed in the Sharp Night a popular singing competition in Hong Kong, securing second place. The contest launched the careers of several Hong Kong pop stars, including Danny Chan, Frances Yip, Albert Au, and Elisa Chan. Though Jim initially pursued a full-time career as a lounge singer after the competition, his music dreams were short-lived. • Approaching his 60s, Jim picked up his guitar once more, performing on the streets (busking) of Lamma Island. In 2019, he caught the attention of a Cavern Club manager visiting Hong Kong, who invited him to perform at Liverpool’s annual Beatleweek.
