These commercials aired on KSTW in September of 1992 • • 1. KSTW Fire Safety PSA (Partial. We must stop these pyromaniac raccoon puppets before it's too late) • 2. Promo for Full House • 3. Merrie Melodies Intro • 4. Merrie Melodies Commercial Bumper • 5. Lucky Charms (With free microwavable birthday cake!!!11) • 6. Gummi Lifesavers • 7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Bubble Bomber and Sewer Sand Cruiser (That animatronic Raphael head is pure nightmare fuel. And you've gotta love toys that were clearly inspired by the Gulf War...I'm surprised there wasn't a Saddam Shredder action figure. By this point TMNT toys were completely off the rails and the crappy third movie effectively killed the franchise for a few years) • 8. Merrie Melodies Commercial Bumpers • 9. Hershey's (Pure milk chocolate, yo! That looks like Thora Birch in the glasses at 3:44) • 10. Teen Talk Barbie (Apparently in 1992 giant floppy hats with enormous bows were extremely in style) • 11. Batman Returns Batmobile and Action Figures (The Batmobile from the Burton films is iconic and IMO still the best version put to film) • 12. KSTW Kids Club Bumper • 13. Promo for Saved By The Bell (Does Good Morning, Miss Bliss take place in the same fictional universe as Saved By The Bell ? Or do they represent two parallel universes?) • 14. KTSW Safety PSA • 15. Merrie Melodies Commercial Bumpers • 16. McDonald's • 17. California Roller Baby (As a fan of the Beach Boys, this crushes my soul a bit) • 18. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bodacious Birthday Turtles Action Figures (Like I said, these figures were getting totally ridiculous by this point, and even as a kid you went WTF when staring at an action figure of Michelangelo dressed as a clown and wondered how it all went so wrong so fast. Also, no Donatello birthday figure? He was my favorite ) • 19. Merrie Melodies Commercial Bumpers • 20. Squeezit (The animation in these reminds me a lot of the parts in Who Framed Roger Rabbit where Bob Hoskins interacted with animated props) • 21. Too Legit To Quit PSA (Partial...unfortunately. With MC Hammer natch) • 22. Thunderbird Home Centers • Donate to 80's Commercial Vault by clicking here: https://goo.gl/vXagDl
