WhistlePig Rye Whiskey Review Standard vs Single Barrels

Here I taste the standard WhistlePig 10 year/100 proof side-by-side with a 107.2 proof Single Barrel picked by Blind Pig Liquor in Houston and a 119 proof Single Barrel by Martin Wine Cellar in New Orleans. All are priced around $75. While these two single barrels were very tasty, I always recommend being cautious with store picks/single barrels. The same uniqueness that can make them standout to the selector's palate, may not necessarily align with yours. When possible, try before you buy. • If you enjoy my reviews and want even more, join me at my LiquorHound Patreon channel (link in the barrel picture on my homepage or / liquorhound . I've been actively collecting for the last two decades and what started as a small basic home bar has transformed (with the help and understanding of my wonderful wife) into what I think is a pretty nice collection. Thank you for watching and sharing in my passion. • Cheers!
