Cut mango in four parts and keep ready. • Place a kadai on stove, add coconut oil. Once oil is hot add in mustard oil,urad dal and curry leaves. Now add in cut mangoes, mix once, cover and cook for a while. After sometime Sprinkle some water, add some salt and cook again. Meanwhile make a coarse powder of fresh coconut, red chilli, mustard and salt. Address ground masala to the cooking mango. Mix again Sprinkle some more water, cover the lid and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. If you like you can add jaggery to this preparation. Finally when the masala is well absorbed from mangoes add in a table spoon of coconut oil, cover and switch off the flame. Tasty boiled mango Palya is ready to serve. This goes well with hot rice.
