Knife laws, especially in New York, can be absurd at best and impossible to apply logic or common sense to. Here is my attempt to make sure you exercise prudence and keep out of jail. This information is for entertainment purposes only and I am not in any way, shape, or form advising you on what to carry where you live. The main point of this is to show the absurdity of the laws and how there are contradictions in the law and more importantly, point out that our government has overstepped and found the need to suppress us with unconstitutional laws. Again, my opinion...and not backed up by any sort of law degree. My only advice to you is to not be a jerk when you are stopped by the police. Be respectful and upbeat and you will find that your life goes so much more smoothly.
