This is a beginner's guide to a DIY shiplap tutorial! In this video, we show you how to add faux shiplap to your ceiling to give your home a modern farmhouse feel. We cut MDF board and used it to plank our ceiling which is a great way to get the look on a budget. We would rip down large boards into planks, glue them to the wall, then nail them in with a 16 gauge finish nailer.
