Southern Cornbread Dressing With Gizzards

This is what I used in the video • Cornbread • 1 Cup Cornmeal • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour • 1/2 Cup Sugar (if you like sweet, it will taste like Jiffy) • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda • 1/2 Tsp Salt • 1 Egg • 1/2 cup unsalted butter • 1 cup milk • *Baked in 10 inch cast iron skillet • Chicken Stock • 5 bone in Thighs • 1/2 large white onion • 3 celery stalks • 3 garlic cloves (crushed) • 2 thyme sprigs • 1 Rosemary stem • 10 cups water • 1 pkg Lipton Onion Soup mix • 2 - 3 tsp Chicken Flavor Bouillon • 3 tsp Garlic Powder • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper • Dressing • Cornbread (cold and dry) • Stove Top Stuffing Mix (cornbread flavor) • 1/2 white onion (diced) • 1/2 green bell pepper (diced) • 2 celery stalk (diced) • 4 Cups Chicken Stock (or more as needed) • 1 Can Cream of Celery soup • 1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup • Sage (to taste) • Poultry Seasoning (to taste) • Black Pepper (to taste) • Thyme (to taste) • 1 Egg • Bake at 400 for up to 45 min OR until golden brown! #thanksgivingdressing
