Juvenile Arthritis [JRA]: • Pauciarticular, ANA positive, RF negative • Contraindication for IOL implantation [as eye is inflammed] • Anterior Uveitis – Presentation@4:13 • SYMPTOMS → Sudden red eye with pain and loss of vision • SIGNS • Circumciliary Congestion • Bluish red • Radial • 2. Cells • WBC, Neutrophils present in AC • Elicited by Slit lamp examination • Earliest sign • Hallmark of activity • Anterior Uveitis – Presentation: • 3. Flare:@5:14 • Protein deposition in aqueous humor • Presents in severe Uveitis • Anterior Uveitis – Presentation: • 4. Keratic Precipitates@5:50 • Neutrophils Lymphocytes on coma • Arlt’s Triangle → Triangular area in the inferior part of cornea where KPs preferentially attaches • Diffuse KPs → KPs attaches all over the cornea • Seen in: @7:22 • Herpetic Uveitis • Fuch’s Heterochromic Iridocyclitis • Mutton Fat KPs → Look likes mutton fat • Seen in: Granulomatous Uveitis / TB / Leprosy / Syphilis / Sarcoidosis • Anterior Uveitis – Presentation: • 1. Keratic Precipitates • 2. Arlt’s Triangle • Mutton Fat KPs • Anterior Uveitis – Presentation@7:32 • 5. Iris Nodules: Seen in Granulomatous Disease • Koeppe’s Nodules → present on pupillary margin • Busacca’s Nodules → present on surface of Iris • Anterior Uveitis – Presentation: • 6.
