It's also home to Scotland's most photographed mountain - Buachaille Etive Mòr or just 'The Buachaille' as it's more affectionately known. • Today, we will walk and scramble our way up to its summit at Stob Dearg, and show you what the view is like from the top, with Rannoch Moor stretching out as far as the eye can see below. • Stob Dearg is classified as a Munro - Scottish mountains with a height of over 3000ft. It's a serious hike to get to the top and in our opinion shouldn't be attempted without some experience and a good pair of boots. We certainly learned some lessons today on how the weather can change a mountain from a fairly benign experience to a mighty dangerous place! • I hope this video gives you a good impression of how it is to hike to the top of such an iconic mountain, and then get back down again! • Hi, I’m Steve.
