https://bauertree.com/chippers/ • This shows a smoke issue we are having on a 1999 John Deere 4045T with a Stanadyne BD4 injector pump. Look at the tach and the puffs of smoke as I run the throttle up and then down, first unloaded and then load (with the chipper engauged-99 Brush Bandit 250). • We replaced the injectors. Are running clean diesel with about a quart of Marvels Mystery oil in a 5 gal can. This engine sat for a good 5 years, maybe more. I'm figuring the pump has some lacquer build up in it and may need to be rebuild. I'm hoping there is an easier way to clean it up. Any suggestions?? • Stanadye D9 DB4429-5328-W, ser#9383936, man# RE-69781 • UPDATE; Full rebuild by Oregon Fuel Injection fixed the problem. About $900. • We are located in Ashland Oregon and sell a variety of tree equipment but specialized in older (pre-emission, pre-ecm) brush and tree chippers and stump grinders. • For more information please go to my website, email me or call directly at 541-930-2925 • https://bauertree.com • And please subscribe to my page. • Thanks for watching.
