Two Minutes of Anatomy: Radial Collateral AKA Lateral Collateral Ligament of the Elbow • Radial Collateral Ligament AKA Lateral Collateral Ligament of the Elbow. • Three parts: Annular Ligament, Lateral Radial Collateral Ligament Lateral Ulnar Collateral Ligament. • Provide stability during varus stresses posterolateral rotational stability. • Lateral Ulnar Collateral Ligament: Predominant stabilizer in posterolateral rotational structure as it crosses over inferior aspect of radial head. Originates from lateral epicondyle of humerus inserts at supinator crest of ulna. • Annular Ligament: Stabilizes proximal radioulnar joint.
