Shuttle Launches EduPAL Tablet Electronic School Bag Solution

shuttle edupal http://www.netbooknews.com Shuttle is looking to take on the text book and has just launched the EduPAL, an electronic schoolbag solution based on an in-house-developed tablet PC. A trial has begun here in Taiwan at three elementary schools in central Taiwan. The 8 inch tablet is running on Nvidia's Tegra 2 platform 1GB of RAM 4GB of Flash Memory and an Micro SD card slot that supports 32GB storage. Its sports a 800 x 600 screen resolution and also has a 1 x USB 2.0, amicro USB and an HDMI port. Since its aimed at students its got a few cool features like its waterproof shockproof, it comes with a carrying bag as well as a name tag for use with the student Easy Card (Taiwan's RFID payment system) and a Digitizer.
