How to get FREE Surround Sound from your 2 channel system

In this video I outline how to use the Hafler Circuit which is a passive electronics circuit that derives surround sound aka, ambient retrieval, using standard stereo equipment and recordings without need for any additional equipment or costly electronics. Such circuits are generally known as matrix decoders. Matrix decoders were very popular starting in the 70's as a way to achieve a Quadraphonic effect from a standard 2 channel amp or receiver. Many of the big names like Marantz, Pioneer, Sansui and others added Matrix decoding to there 2 channel equipment as a budget alternative to full blown Quad systems. All you need is an extra pair of speakers and some wire. The speakers don't need to be any thing special just some small bookshelf speakers work great.
