They are black in colour with a white belly, eyebrows and whisker marks. The wag tail name stems from the constant wagging of the tail. • They are found throughout Australia except for Tasmania. And they are also found in New Guinea and the Solomon Island. These birds are highly active and can been seen darting around the lawn finding insects. • The Willy Wag Tail's nest is covered with spider webs on the inside and lined with soft grass, hairs or furs. They re-use the materials for years and reconstruct their nest on horizontally on tree branches. Eggs are incubated by both parents and the young stay with their parents until the next clutch hatches. At this point the parents will drive them away.
