This was originally going to be two separate videos, but I am lazy at editing and ended up just throwing them both together since I had already finished filming the 5 week update before I even started editing the first part. See the time stamps in the video description to hop to what you want to see. Tried to really break it apart for people. • Anyway, I start by going through all the products and show the applications and my initial thoughts. Really not too much to call out. They all applied very easily and anyone could do it. Some felt a bit slicker than others and most beaded very well initially as shown in the first water beading testing section. I throw around the word beading and sheeting a lot in this. Generally in this I was looking for beading vs the sheeting effect like shown on the control although it is not what really would be called good sheeting properties. The water simply pools and runs off, not like actually good sheeting that removes water entirely from an area. So please ignore my poor use of the word sheeting repeatedly here. • The real interesting part of the experiment is the one month update. The variations in build up were very surprising, especially the Sonax. I have no idea what about it caused this, but the Sonax Rim Shield had some amazing build up repellant properties. Most of the other coatings/sealants/waxes performed relatively the same with the one thing of note being Kamikaze Stance had a bit more build up than some of the other true ceramic coatings. After pressure washing, the true ceramic coatings and the couple of waxes definitely seemed to perform a bit better and shed more of their contaminants than some others. Everything else definitely needed scrubbing with soap. After scrubbing with soap and a microfiber mitt, pretty much everything became clean without too much effort. • For the one month beading test, the most surprising results were probably that Detailing Product's and Pinnacle Black Label's Wheel Coatings seemed to have already failed for the most part. The Turllin coating from Alibaba is still going very strong and looking as good as anything else and the true ceramic coatings are all going strong as well of course. Fusso Coat and Collonite 476s are both going great as well. Most other things still look about the same as initially with less crazy beading properties than the aforementioned ones. • The car has to go in storage now so there will not be another update until spring. I wonder if anything will change after just sitting over winter. I'll have an update on that when I pull it out next year. • Products being tested • True Ceramics: Kamikaze Stance, Gtech C5, Gyeon Rim, Gyeon Rim, CarPro DLux, IGL Wheel Coating, Adam's Graphene Ceramic Coating, Turllin (Alibaba) • Sprays On: Gtech C2V3, Sonax Rim Guard, Turtle Wax Seal N Shine, Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic, McKee's 37 Hydro Blue, McKee's 37 Wheel Coating, Detailing product's Wheel Coating, Pinnacle Black Label Wheel Coating, • Wipe on Paste Waxes/Sealants: Fusso Coat, Collonite 476s, Wheel Wax, Powerlock Plus • Follow me on: • Facebook - / thesourcegarage • Instagram - / thesourcegarage • Intro 0:00 • Application Demo 3:28 • All Applications and Thoughts After Each Wheel 5:20 • Water Bead Testing: Control, Fusso, Powerlock, Collonite 476s, Wheel Wax 12:47 • Water Bead Testing: Sonax Rim Guard, Gtech C2V3, M37 Hydro Blue, Turtle Wax Hybrid, Turtle Wax Seal N Shine 14:19 • Water Bead Testing: M37 Wheel Coating, Turllin Ceramic Coating, Adam's Graphene Ceramic, Pinnacle Black Label, Detailing Product's 17:49 • Water Bead Testing: Gyeon Rim, DLux, Gtech C5, Kamikaze Stance, IGL Wheel Coating 18:42 • Wrap Up To Part 1 19:51 • 5 Week Update Intro 20:37 • Contaminate Build Up: Gyeon Rim, DLux, Gtech C5, Kamikaze Stance, IGL Wheel Coating 21:07 • Contaminate Build Up: M37 Wheel Coating, Turllin Ceramic Coating, Adam's Graphene Ceramic, Pinnacle Black Label, Detailing Product's 22:52 • Contaminate Build Up: Control, Fusso, Powerlock, Collonite 476s, Wheel Wax 23:35 • Contaminate Build Up: Sonax Rim Guard, Gtech C2V3, M37 Hydro Blue, Turtle Wax Hybrid, Turtle Wax Seal N Shine 24:34 • Water Bead Testing 2: Sonax Rim Guard, Gtech C2V3, M37 Hydro Blue, Turtle Wax Hybrid, Turtle Wax Seal N Shine 26:46 • Water Bead Testing 2: Control, Fusso, Powerlock, Collonite 476s, Wheel Wax 30:58 • Water Bead Testing 2: M37 Wheel Coating, Turllin Ceramic Coating, Adam's Graphene Ceramic, Pinnacle Black Label, Detailing Product's 33:43 • Water Bead Testing 2: Gyeon Rim, DLux, Gtech C5, Kamikaze Stance, IGL Wheel Coating 37:26 • Wrap Up Callouts 40:11
