Snapper Mower Conversion

Snapper mower converted from gas to battery-electric. 26 cutting deck. Chevy Volt 48 volt battery. Motenergy ME1004 electric motor. • I built this mower with an accelerator (gas pedal) paired with a controller. These are not necessary and skipping them would save $290. But, for safety reasons you should replace them with an attendant switch (an on-off switch that the rider would have to hold in the on position while using the mower (hand switch or foot pedal). • Here's a spreadsheet that shows the parts used for this conversion.
