Ludwigia Repens: HOW TO PLANT • -- Subscribe for more videos!!! -- • / @ottercreekaquatics • -- Quality gear for this video -- • Lighting: https://amzn.to/2YahiNx • Microphone: https://amzn.to/2GZxhIq • In this video I take one of the most popular stem plants in the freshwater aquarium hobby (Ludwigia Repens) that I just picked up from the LFS and talk about how to properly plant a stem plant down into the substrate. • Many people just take the whole bundle of 5 or 6 stems from a plant like this and plant it down into the substrate all together. This makes for a more lush and filled plant looks, but for a stem plant to thrive it needs to be separated into each individual stem. This also makes for a longer process, but putting in the extra work always leads to better success! • More about me: • I am a hobbyist from Southern Indiana. I currently have 15 tanks and have a few more to add to the fish room. I keep a variety of livebearers, angel fish, rainbow fish, barbs, tetras, rasboras, corydoras, plecos and NeoCaridinia shrimp.
